Richard Hayward

I studied at Southampton and Birmingham Colleges of Art and at Shoreditch College. I design and make a wide variety of decorative and relief carvings and sculpture in wood and stone and have fulfilled commissions for numerous organisations including the Nautical Institute, Lymington and Botley European Twinning Associations and the Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust. Church commissions include carved limewood lecterns for Tyberton Parish Church, Herefordshire and St Mary's Church, Alverstoke, Gosport, a wood carving of Christ for the Parish Church, Purley, Surrey and two carved stone heads for St. Peter's.
