Mark received a prestigous commission to design and make a lectern and Icon stand for the Crypt chapel at Lambeth Palace. This was consecrated at a service conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, in May at which Mark and his wife were present. The pieces were made to complement an Altar designed in 1986 by renowned designer maker John Makepiece. The 800 year old Crypt is a beautiful structure in the building adjacent to the south bank of the river Thames opposite Westminster.
