Textiles - Painting & Printing

5 week course, Beginner / Intermediate.

An interest in pattern, print and texture is beneficial along with a desire to discover and develop various painting and printing techniques including; collograph printing, lino printing, stencilling and hand painting.

'Taster'- Lino Printing

Saturday 16th October 2010, 9.30am - 12.30pm

Explore the traditional technique of block printing using Lino. In this beginner's workshop you will use specialist tools to learn the skill of cutting lino for creating single colour prints; have fun experimenting and printing paper and fabric samples with your finished lino.
